My name is Joel Marriott. I am a lover of all literature and enjoy reading and writing poems and fictitious peices. I particularly love any fantasy or science fiction books. I find that TV adaptions of books are nowhere near as good as the origional, as only the author of a book can capture everything in true detail, and as was intended. Right, so here is a crash course on me:

Currently Living At: Yate (I’ve been there my entire life, I would love to leave that place though!)
Music: Pendulum, Metallica, Slipknot, Nickelback, My Chemical Romance, Insane Clown Possie, Madcon, Skid Row, Tenacious D, Lordi, Lynard Skynyrd, Joy Division, Lost Prophets, Drowning Pool and many others. I will basically listen to anything but R&B as that really annoys me! Rap and Bass do NOT go together!
Films: Harry Potter, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, Shaun of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, The Golden Compass, The Lion King I & II, Saw I-V, Hostel I & II, You Me and Dupree, RV: Runaway Vacation, The Incredibles, Underworld & Underworld: Evolution, Blade, The Matrix, Wall-E. Again, I watch ALOT of different things, from horrors to Disney movies – I love them all!
Television: Doctor Who, Casualty, Torchwood, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, QI, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, Shameless. I watch a good mix of shows, which often stops me from being bored if I am stuck for ideas. You just can’t beat a witty QuizCom!
Literature: Well. You’ll just have to find out!
Likes: The olden times – when people had less to worry about and everything was so much simpler, Pizza, Comedy, Guitar, Debating, Meaningful Conversation.
Dislikes: “Chavs”, People who think they know everything.
