Firstly, I am now working at McDonalds. Yes, McDonalds. It brings in the cash, I guess. I put a complete stop to Evanus but I have plans to resume it, as a few people have been reading it and tell me it is really good.

My main focus is making money at the moment. I will be giving updates on here about that too.

Oh, and yes. I HAVE TURNED 18!

Basicly, I got kicked out of the band for not showing enough dedication. I practiced all night on some days just so that I could be as best as I could. They kicked me out without a moments notice, after telling me they had been planning it for weeks. Yep, don’t tell me you little shits, just let me live oblivious instead of taking action.

So this has got me onto the topic of backstabbers. I get backstabbed so much in my life, its unbelievable.  Anywho. lets get on to the current events so far. So… Swine Flu. I love it. Do you want to know why?

So, before you start moaning – The second human to human transfer was confirmed in Chipping Sodbury. I live a 5 minute walk from that blokes’ house. I have stepped up hygiene so much now… My room is getting disinfected daily and it is clean 24/7 – Its NEVER been like that.

Sorry I havent posted in over a month (!?) I’ve been doing coursework.

The virus checks a list of over 50,000 websites for instructions on what it should do next – just one of these websites needs to be under the hacker’s control to tell the infected computers to do something, all at once. This is otherwise known as a botnet. Botnets have been known to be able to take down massive websites such as Microsoft and spread to various other machines.

Once the virus makes it’s way onto your system, it can be extremely hard to get rid of. It disables all vital security programs such as Avast, Mcaffee, AVG, Zone Alarm, Windows Firewall, Windows Update, Windows Defender and many keywords on domains such as “defend”, “remove” and “anti” are blocked by the virus.

“Scareware” producers have been taking advantage of this by creating fake Conficker removal tools, which are essentially keyloggers and will cause more harm to your system. They have been bumping their fake websites to the top of popular search engines such as Google and Yahoo.

Many websites are offering a tool to remove Conficker, however I would trust only two sources. **WHEN DOWNLOADING THESE FILES, ALWAYS CHECK THAT THE DOMAIN NAME IS THE SAME AS THE PRODUCT ON OFFER**. Below are some reccomended tools:

Microsoft’s Conficker Removal Tool
Ensure that windows update is ran as soon as possible, and keep checking for updates regularly. It is likely that when the botnet is activated (Estimation midnight TONIGHT) that Microsoft will release a variety of patches and security updates for all windows versions in order to stop conficker from ever making it onto your system.

If this is an april fools joke, it is probably the best planned joke ever.

They should have these up at college

Another average day at college. Between lessons wandering aimlessly through the streets I bumped into someone I always see, In my lessons we did the same things that we always do… I NEED MORE TO DO! It would seem that boredom is the trigger for the creative part of the brain.

If you are living in cornwall, london or america you can always be glad that you dont live here.

Damn Virus!

Well, the aftermath of valentines day seems to have blessed me with a nice full body virus. At this moment in time, I feel like cutting my throat out – anything is better than the sandpaper that is my throat at the moment.

Joy, I’m half dead. Soar throat, extreme sluggishness and a stomach that feels like it is going to explode. Ah well, at least its not the only time i’ll get off of college in a very long time – oh wait, it is! By the time I’m rid of this, it will probably be the end of half term, simply because the college like screwing me over.

On the bright side, I had a very nice valentines day with my girlfriend before I completely fell to shreads and started to implode at the sheer agony. I’ve read somewhere that you will heal a lot quicker if you dont take any medicine, because apparently medicine fools your body in to thinking that you have rid the virus, when really your body is too numb for your immune system to find out – resulting in the infection taking hold more.

So for me its just warm drinks, and sleeping (I got up about 4PM today! Allright for some, I know )

The Forecast From Hell.

Look at this forecast… Doesn’t it make you want to cry? sure, if this was christmas I would be ecstatic… but its getting into spring and we’re neck deep in snow… For once, just once, I hope the Met Office is wrong, and we have boiling hot sunny dry days for the next week at least… A guy can hope cant he?

I know, As a 17 year old I should be happy with this amount of snow, I should be plastering all my mates in thick layers of slush, blah blah blah… But if I’m quite honest, this snow is really starting to get on my nerves, and I think I’m going to explode with anger if it doesnt all melt away soon.

Well, it would seem that round two has begun, and the snow has started dropping again. Right now outside, there is allready a thick blanket of snow on the ground, yet it still keeps falling. Seemingly huge flakes of snow that don’t seem to end.

Thanks to this mayhem, all buses and trains in my area have been cancelled, and all schools have been closed down for today. I cannot get in to college purely because the only way would be walking 10 odd miles.

Everyone in Yate seems to be panicking as they cannot get to their places of work, and driving in this current weather is suicidal.

The roads are all clogged up thanks to an unimaginable lack of gritting, the dark grey sludge surrounding every road seems to put everyone off of attempting to brave going to the shops. Its not all so bad however, the kids outside seem to be having great fun creating snowmen and replicas of the eifel tower – I saw one block of snow the size of my front door! They really have been working.

Whats worse, the snow from tuesday has frozen to ice, so beneath all of this snow is rough, slippery ice – I’m sure the local hospital will have their hands full tonight!
